Humpback RocksCurrently FRIENDS is looking for volunteers to work in a new chapter at Humpback Rocks. We need Steering Commitee members who are committed to starting this chapter in advance of the 75th Anniversary of the Blue Ridge Parkway in 2010. There will be many local community events to commemorate this anniversary, and we hope that a chapter at Humpback Rocks will organize and manage these events. The Steering Committee will provide leadership for the chapter. Once the Steering Committee is established, future projects will follow such as the cultural activities in the Humpback Rocks area. FRIENDS is currently recruiting Steering Committee Members. To apply for membership please complete the Steering Committee Chapter application form. click here. |
