FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway is a non-profit, volunteer organization that is dedicated to preserving, promoting and enhancing the Blue Ridge Parkway, a national treasure. FRIENDS programs focus on preservation, protection and education. FRIENDS Cherokee Chapter
Leadership for the newly developing Cherokee FRIENDS Chapter is being provided by Co-Chairs Robert Jumper and Tonya Jenks. Two meetings have been held in 2010 to solicit involvement in the new chapter’s effort s by other Cherokee community leaders.
