Please Remember... Your gift to FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway qualifies you for a full tax deduction for charitable contributions as defined under federal law 501(c)(3). In addition to membership, there are many ways to contribute financially to FRIENDS: memorials, in-kind and special gifts, employer matching gifts, gift memberships, bequests by will and gifts of stock.
Volunteer workers are needed to help the Parkway and its anniversary foundation, 75th Inc. They need volunteers to help prepare for events along the Parkway, serve as ambassadors at officially sanctioned 75th anniversary events in local communities, serve at events and concerts related to the 75th anniversary and to perform clerical duties.
Volunteers should enjoy working with the general public, be flexible, accommodating, and interested in Parkway history. If you are interested in supporting the Parkway during this once in a lifetime event, please let us know by sending an email to staff@friendsbrp.org. For more information about BRP 75, please visit their website.
